Since 1975, it has been one of the 26 members of the University of Ljubljana. The teaching process at the <strong>Academy<\/strong> combines artistic and research activities, and is strongly based on individual tutoring.<\/p>\n<p>Study programmes at the<strong> Academy<\/strong> are designed in line with an artistic, creative, and practical foundation. Their objective is to train students in the provision and implementation of various art projects in their respective fields.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, students present their practical work in numerous theatre productions, short films, and television dramas. The productions are open to the general public, while the films directed by our students are regularly broadcast on national television.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Undergraduate studies \u2013 1st cycle<\/span><br \/>\n The duration of the Film and Television study programme is three years. It covers three modules: Film and Television Directing, Cinematography for Film and Television, and Film and Television Editing. Graduates will learn how to face the challenges of their own creativity and aim to achieve professional high-tech standards.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Postgraduate studies \u2013 2nd cycle<\/span><br \/>\n The duration of the Film and Television Arts study programme is two years. It offers six modules: Film Directing, Television Directing, Editing, Cinematography, Screenplay Writing, and Production. It provides students with an in-depth knowledge of audio-visual media and their content from the viewpoint of media as art as well as in terms of psychological, sociological, economic, and public administration policies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Academy<\/strong> is actively involved in the international community through its educational, artistic, and research activities, and is a member of several prominent international professional associations, such as the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration internationale pour la recherche th\u00e9\u00e2trale \u2013 International Federation for Theatre Research (FIRT\/IFTR), the European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA), the International Association of Film and Television Schools (CILECT), and others.<\/p>\n<p>The review of the films shot by the <strong>Academy&#8217;s<\/strong> students will be accompanied by Framing in Cinematography seminar during which prof. Igor Kor\u0161i\u010d will talk about an unusual meeting of approx. 150 directors of photography that took place in 1990 in Denmark. After a stroke, \u0160tefka can\u2019t even remember her name, but one night a memory from her early childhood vividly returns. When she was only three, her grandmother showed her a photograph of her children. \u0160tefka visits her sister Zorka, a blind photographer, who may know more about the photograph. He isn\u2019t trapped in social norms and learned behavioural patterns, so his guidance in life is through what he feels. Benjamin is authentic and direct, but people quite often misunderstand him. He loves trains and numbers, so he spends lots of time at the Ljubljana train station with his mother Maja. Maja drives a city bus, which is not only her work, but also her time to relax.
