ARRI technology does not stop with our cameras; another recent showreel presents the incredible shots and rock steady capture possible with ARRI\u2019s new Stabilized Remote Head, the SRH-3.\n <\/p>\n THURSDAY, 15 NOV<\/span><\/p>\n \n11:30 a.m. \u2013 4:00 p.m.<\/strong> \nARRI ACADEMY MASTER CLASS<\/strong><\/p>\n How to master large-format digital capture<\/strong> <\/p>\n American cinematographer James Laxton\u2019s work on \u201cMoonlight\u201d won him a number of accolades in 2017, including the Independent Spirit Award and an Academy Award nomination. \u201cIf Beale Street Could Talk\u201d (captured on ALEXA 65 with Prime DNA lenses) \u2013 Laxton\u2019s most recent collaboration with director Barry Jenkins \u2013 is already poised to be an Academy Awards frontrunner in 2019.<\/p>\n A veteran of large-format digital capture, Laxton will impart his experience and knowledge of translating the script into powerful imagery. By composing specific shots on the ALEXA LF and Signature Primes, Laxton will light, frame, and compose various scenes and explain his techniques and motivation. ARRI LED lighting fixtures will also play a role in creating appropriate day and night scenes for this exclusive training.
