We are very excited to announce that the 27th edition of the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography CAMERIMAGE<\/strong> will be held between 9-16 November 2019<\/span> in the city of Toru\u0144<\/strong>. For some of you this means an entirely new location; for us \u2013 it\u2019s a return to our roots \u2013 both for the festival itself, whose first seven editions took place in Toru\u0144<\/strong>, but also for Tumult Foundation<\/strong>, the Toru\u0144-based<\/strong> organizer of the event. We are working together with the authorities of Toru\u0144<\/strong> and all our old and new partners on bringing you the new edition, hoping to soon be able to share more about our 2019 program and the new logistics for the festival.<\/p>\n

A lot of you took part in many of the previous, hopefully amazing editions of the CAMERIMAGE Festival<\/strong>, joining us for thousands of visually exciting screenings and hundreds of meetings, exhibitions and other accompanying events. In the past 26 years, CAMERIMAGE<\/strong> has gradually evolved into a recognizable, global brand. Although relocating a cultural event of this scale is bound to be quite a challenge for all of us, we are convinced that the organizational changes will not affect the quality or diversity of the festival. Quite the opposite \u2013 we feel invigorated with fresh energy and we can\u2019t wait to give the 27th edition of CAMERIMAGE<\/strong> a new home. In the wise words of Wis\u0142awa Szymborska: \u201cEvery beginning is only a sequel, after all…\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
