The official ceremony took place on September 17, as a part of the 44th edition of the Polish Feature Films Festival in Gdynia. The award was handed to <strong>Marek \u017bydowicz, the Festival Director<\/strong>, who then dedicated it to the residents of <strong>Toru\u0144<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Polish Film Institute Awards<\/strong> are a special distinction in the film industry that appreciate the work of people and institutions unrelated to film production. These are the only Polish awards that aim to highlight the special achievements of individuals and institutions supporting the development of Polish cinematography, promoting its achievements, and facilitating the society&#8217;s access to Polish film productions. The awards have been given since 2008.
