The 27th edition of EnergaCAMERIMAGE<\/strong> has officially ended. Golden Frogs<\/strong> went into different parts of the world with their new owners, organizational dust settled and emotions slowly cool down. It is a good time for a brief summary.<\/p>\n

After many years, the festival returned to its roots, finding a safe haven in hospitable Toru\u0144<\/strong>, which for these few festival days became the real capital of cinema, and which thus enriched its rich cultural offer that attracts more than 2 million tourists from around the world every year.<\/p>\n

\n This year EnergaCAMERIMAGE<\/strong> participants had the chance to see 220 films and take part in a number of inspiring conferences, seminars, workshops and meetings, both official ones with outstanding filmmakers, as well as less formal ones organized spontaneously in numerous Toru\u0144<\/strong> cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs, because during the festival week the city was teeming with life all day long.<\/p>\n

Nearly 4,500 entry card holders<\/span> visited five major festival locations on which the entire festival was logistically based. They were: JORDANKI Cultural and Congress Center, CINEMA CITY multi-screen cinema complex, ZNAKI CZASU Center for Contemporary Art, the Municipal Theater of Wilam Horzyca and the sports hall of Toru\u0144 High School No. 10<\/strong>; all without exception filled to the brim from the beginning to the very end of the festival.<\/p>\n

During the eight festival days Toru\u0144<\/strong> was visited by such outstanding filmmakers as: Edward Norton, Danny DeVito, Richard Gere, Robert Richardson, Quentin Tarantino, Agnieszka Holland, Helena T\u0159e\u0161t\u00edkov\u00e1, Darren Aronofsky, John Bailey, Saskia Boddeke, C\u00e9sar Charlone, Ewa Da\u0142kowska, John de Borman, Caleb Deschanel, Pawe\u0142 Edelman, Rob Epstein, Mike Figgis, Peter Greenaway, Josh Hartnett, Michael Hoffman, Stephen Lighthill, Carol Littleton, Lech Majewski, V\u00e1clav Marhoul, Anastas Michos, Phedon Papamichael, Dick Pope, Rodrigo Prieto, Jan Roelfs, Jay Rosenblatt, Alik Sakharov, Paul Sarrosy, Lawrence Sher, Oliver Stapleton, Vittorio Storaro<\/strong> and many, many more.<\/p>\n

\n However, it is time – in accordance with the idea behind EnergaCAMERIMAGE<\/strong> – to give priority to the image.
