The restrictions in the field of culture dictated by the fight with pandemic, which prevented us from organizing the EnergaCAMERIMAGE Festival<\/strong> in an offline version, and resulted in transferring all screenings to the online platform, forced us to introduce significant adjustments in this year’s Festival<\/strong> program. As the organizer, we do not have license rights to the films that would allow us complete freedom in this matter. We are completely dependent on restrictions imposed by distributors, which in turn are restricted by a number of dependencies resulting from signed and still binding promotional agreements for individual films, regulating the order of their distribution on a global scale.<\/p>\n Therefore, despite the most sincere intentions, we will not be able to show all originally planned film screenings online, while those online screenings that can be organized will additionally have a limit of virtual seats made available to us by the distributors of individual films.<\/p>\n At the same time, we would like to inform you that all additional festival events, including seminars, meetings with filmmakers and the virtual CAMERIMAGE Market<\/strong>, will be available to all accredited guests without such restrictive limits.<\/p>\n As part of the Festival<\/strong>, many attractions are being prepared. World-famous cinematographers and representatives of other film industry branches will meet with us to talk about the future of cinema, its condition during the pandemic, about the love for films and the passion to create them. At EnergaCAMERIMAGE 2020<\/strong> we will get the chance to talk to, among others, multiple Oscar\u00ae winner Vitorrio Storaro<\/strong>, who will share with us his impressions of working with the most important directors in the history of cinema with whom he has worked over the years. The famous actor Viggo Mortensen<\/strong>, making his debut as a director, will talk to us about his latest film Falling<\/span><\/em>. We will discuss the work of one of the greatest cinematographers in history, Philippe Rousselot<\/strong>, with the renowned and award-winning Caroline Champetier<\/strong>, Jean-Marie Dreujou<\/strong> and Denis Lenoir<\/strong>. As part of a series of seminars organized by NETFLIX<\/strong> streaming platform, we will meet with such film legends as, for example, six-time Oscar\u00ae-nominee Caleb Deschanel<\/strong>, recognized in the industry and loved by the audience Phedon Papamichael<\/strong>, appreciated by the American Film Academy \u0141ukasz \u017bal<\/strong>, already twice nominated for Oscar\u00ae, the cult director Spike Lee<\/strong>, or the adored, world-renowned actor and director George Clooney<\/strong>, who will talk to the festival audience about his latest film The Midnight Sky<\/span><\/em>.<\/p>\n It is hard to express how much we regret all the restrictions we were forced to introduce, but we assure you that we will make every effort so that the program of the 28th edition of EnergaCAMERIMAGE<\/strong>, despite unfavorable circumstances, abounds in a number of interesting film screenings and other attractions, among which everyone will find something interesting for themselves.
