Suddenly, these peaceful images turn into a battlefield between a social minority and the police, which ends with a shot. <strong>Lamar<\/strong> gliding over the streets is a powerful image that stays in the viewer&#8217;s mind. This is just the beginning of <strong>Kendrick Lamar&#8217;s<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #d29600;\"><em>Alright<\/em><\/span> video, after which <strong>Colin Tilley<\/strong> was hailed as the future of the industry. And that was just the beginning of his career.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.camerimage.pl\/assets\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Colin-Tilley_www-e1632744763856.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.camerimage.pl\/assets\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Colin-Tilley_www-e1632744763856.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"800\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-28474 size-large\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is our great pleasure to announce that <strong>Colin Tilley<\/strong>\u00a0will receive\u00a0<strong>Camerimage Award for Achievements in the Field of Music Videos<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Colin Tilley<\/strong> is a multi-award winning, and Grammy-nominated American filmmaker, music video and television commercial director, who has created a plethora of award-winning work with other artists and companies. Tilley is the CEO and owner of<strong> Boy in the Castle Productions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A maverick from day one, <strong>Tilley<\/strong> began his directorial career shooting and editing music videos for local <strong>Bay Area<\/strong> rappers at age 19. He embraced a DIY approach to filmmaking, cutting his teeth as a one-man production machine, waltzing through concrete jungles and hanging out of cars with his eye in a camera. Teaching himself to light, shoot and edit films through YouTube tutorials, <strong>Tilley<\/strong> eventually garnered industry attention, which brought him to LA and introduced him to a new tier of talent.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Earning a myriad of awards for his videos:<span style=\"color: #d29600;\"> <em>Alright <\/em><\/span>performed by <strong>Kendrick Lamar<\/strong> and <strong>Megan Thee Stallion<\/strong> and <strong>Cardi B<\/strong>\u2019s <span style=\"color: #d29600;\"><em>WAP<\/em><\/span>, Tilley has also produced and directed music videos for superstar artists including: <strong>Kendrick Lamar<\/strong>, <strong>Cardi B<\/strong>, <strong>Justin Bieber<\/strong>, <strong>J Balvin<\/strong>, <strong>The Kid LAROI<\/strong>, <strong>Chris Brown<\/strong>, <strong>Nicki Minaj<\/strong>, <strong>Enrique Iglesias<\/strong>, <strong>Zendaya<\/strong>, <strong>Megan Thee Stallion<\/strong>, <strong>Justin Timberlake<\/strong>, <strong>50 Cent<\/strong>, <strong>Tyga<\/strong>, <strong>Lil Wayne<\/strong>, <strong>Jason Derulo<\/strong>, <strong>Mary J. Blige<\/strong> and <strong>Diddy<\/strong>, <strong>Usher<\/strong> and<strong> Rita Ora<\/strong>. <strong>Tilley<\/strong> directed, produced and executive produced his first short film, <span style=\"color: #d29600;\"><em>Mr. Happy<\/em><\/span>, starring <strong>Chance the Rapper<\/strong>. He has produced, written and directed commercials for leading brands: <strong>McDonalds<\/strong>, <strong>YSL<\/strong>, <strong>Reebok<\/strong>, <strong>L\u2019Or\u00e9al<\/strong>, <strong>Rolls<\/strong> <strong>Royce<\/strong>, <strong>Beats by Dre<\/strong>, <strong>Peugeot<\/strong>, <strong>Hugo<\/strong>, <strong>Diesel<\/strong>, <strong>Pandora<\/strong>, <strong>Audi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He has directed more than 200 music videos. One of the world\u2019s top branded content directors, <strong>Tilley<\/strong> plans to segue his career into feature films. Most recently, <strong>Tilley<\/strong> directed<span style=\"color: #d29600;\"><em> If I Can\u2019t Have Love, I Want Power<\/em><\/span>, a concept feature film starring <strong>Halsey<\/strong>, scored by Oscar\u00ae and Grammy winners <strong>Trent Reznor<\/strong> and <strong>Atticus Ross<\/strong>, with costumes by <strong>Vivian Westwood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the <span style=\"color: #d29600;\"><strong>29th edition of the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography EnergaCAMERIMAGE<\/strong><\/span> he will appear first of all as <strong>a music video director<\/strong>.
