Last Friday, October 1, after more than a year of delay due to the pandemic, the official opening of the EXPO 2020 World Exhibition in Dubai took place. EXPO is organized for the first time in an Arab country and in the Middle East. As part of the EXPO 2020, Poland presented its pavilion, which from the very opening, due to the uniqueness of its wooden structure, attracts large numbers of visitors. The slogan of the exhibition is “Creativity inspired by nature” and within its space, the organizers invite you to experience Polish nature, culture and innovative technological solutions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are especially proud because the EnergaCAMERIMAGE International Film Festival<\/strong><\/span> was invited to participate in EXPO 2020 in Dubai by the consortium Science Now, Stellar Fireworks and Tellart – producers of substantive content exhibited in the Polish Pavilion. Video materials from our event are shown in the area dedicated to the presentation of Polish culture and art. It is a great honour for EnergaCAMERIMAGE<\/span><\/strong>, considering that creativity – the guiding idea which inspired the designers of the Polish exhibition and which is a special feature of Poles, as well as the basis for building successes in the field of economy, culture and science – has been close to the Festival\u2019s organizers when creating the program of this event from the very beginning and it still is now.<\/p>\n

As part of the Polish EXPO Pavilion in Dubai, Poland is presented through the prism of a country whose main potential are people – creative, hardworking, educated, full of energy and cleverness, who can face each and every new challenge. We are truly happy that, as the organizers of the EnergaCAMERIMAGE Festival<\/strong><\/span>, the largest international film event in Poland and the only one entirely devoted to the art of cinematography in the world, we have become part of this narrative.<\/p>\n

EXPO 2020 is the most important economic event in the world, the scale of which is comparable to the Olympic Games, World Football Championships and the largest cultural festivals. It is organized cyclically and the history of its organization dates back to the mid-nineteenth century. Participation in it is a great honor for all economic, cultural and social entities.<\/p>\n
