Actor Julian Sands<\/strong> (A Room with a View<\/span><\/em>, Leaving Las Vegas<\/span><\/em>, Ocean\u2019s 13<\/span><\/em>, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo<\/em><\/span>), will come to EnergaCAMERIMAGE Festival<\/strong> to introduce his program Keats, Shelley, Ghosts and Lovers<\/span><\/em>. During the one-man show Sands<\/strong> directs himself he will present poems by John Keats<\/strong> and Percy Bysshe Shelley<\/strong>. The show will take place in the Tumult Foundation’s building (Rynek Nowomiejski 28 street) on Sunday, November 14th, at 4pm<\/span>, as well as the next day, Monday, November 15th, at 4:30pm<\/span>. <\/p>\n

Curiously, Julian Sands<\/strong> already had the opportunity to play Percy Bysshe Shelley<\/strong> in Ken Russell’s<\/strong> Gothic<\/span><\/em>. Needless to say, his Toru\u0144 show will be a treat to all enthusiasts of British literature. Additionally, because 2021 is the year of Cyprian Kamil Norwid<\/strong>, the initiative of Marek \u017bydowicz, director of EnergaCAMERIMAGE Festival<\/strong>, will make it possible to compare Keats’s <\/strong>and Shelley’s <\/strong>works with poems of one of the most eminent poets of Polish Romanticism.<\/p>\n

European Film Center CAMERIMAGE <\/strong>and Tumult Foundation<\/strong> invite you to a memorable event, co-organized by the staff of the Institute of Literary Studies of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru\u0144<\/strong>. You will also have a chance to talk to Julian Sands<\/strong> during a November 15th meeting that will take place in CKK Jordanki’s Seminar Room at 8:30pm<\/span>.<\/p>\n
