\n \nAbout the \u201cMuses of Light\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n From the words of Fabio De Sisti: And then the shapes and the lighting power\u2026we have produced 12 types of MUSES. \n \nThe benefits of LED lights<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n In terms of energy saving and of best ratio between light quality and energy consumption, the advantages are huge:<\/p>\n 1. Very low power absorbed: for example, AUREA consumes only 2 kW and as an application it can replace conventional large-power HMIs….. 18kw HMI, 16kw Jumbo or 20kw Fresnel. It can be connected to a HOME socket, or fed via INVERTER by the cigarette lighter of a car. It\u2019s clear the huge reduction in the power required of the generating sets. The Muses of Light\u2019s electronics are powered with Universal Voltage. Also, De Sisti pays great attention at present to the Location Market; there are a few products coming along soon, even though the Factory is very occupied to get the users to know about all the new products we have lounged in the last 2 years, as the pandemic has limited our ability to travel and divulge the products.<\/p>\n We have infact developed the VW+C Fresnels and Softlights with unique features, as well as the F20 and a lot of super powerful Fresnels.<\/p>\n We are also developing some Cyclorama Lights and we intend to complement our range of Location lights with some additional products (Light Engine and similar).<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/archive.camerimage.pl\/assets\/uploads\/2022\/11\/rsz_foto_for_first_paragraph.jpg\")

\n\u201cAs most demanding Designers, Vittorio Storaro has asked:

\nThe use of multiple sources and different optical systems has been a challenge:
\nWe had to try and industrialize such a requirement and we have therefore identified a modular method by producing a few type of LED Boards with different shapes, that add together to then form the final geometrical shape of each fixtures.
\nThe Driver electronics is Modular too.
\nThe MUSES utilize convection cooling, no fans, except the 2 bigger size of the electronics boxes where we fit some slow speed fans.
\nThe cooling is accomplished by having a very minimal unitary Power over Surface.
\nFor instance, if we take a Fresnel array that we feed at 580W in our F14HP Fresnel, the LED in the ARRAY are distributed over a surface of 19,4 cm2, meaning we have approximately 29,9W per cm2 of Power over Surface
\nIf we compare a similar power in the MUSES of LIGHT, for instance we can take CLIO which is a rectangular shape with a surface of 5.000 cm2.
\nThe total power of the fixture is 480W, it means that the power is 0,1W per cm2 in other words the power over unitary surface in this MUSE is approximately 299 times smaller then the F14HP De Sisti LED Fresnel.
\nWith such a contained value of power per unitary surface, it is possible to utilize a very simple convection cooling radiant surface.
\nOf course the important matter is resident in the optics, but unlike older multisources fixtures, where the problem of multiple shadows was evident because the big physical size of the lamps were causing suchj an optical interference, with the very contained geometrical size of the LED and their optics it is possible to minimize it. Then of course there are a number of special issues we take care of.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
\n2. Don\u2019t need gels for CCT control of the whites:
\n3. The color temperature in The Muses of Light is adjustable from 2.700 to 6.500 \u00b0K, both locally and from DMX console, with a very high color rendering.
\n4. You don\u2019t need to change lamps anymore
\n5. The Muses of Light\u2019s LED are powered at a very low power considering their standard dimensioning and heat dissipation. Expected lifetime is over 50.000 working hours without perceptible variations in luminous and chromatic performances.
\n6. DIMMERS are not needed
\n7. They\u2019re adjustable from 0 to 100% locally, by wired DMX, or wireless DMX (Lumen Radio TIMO2) without the need of external dimmers
\n8. They\u2019re fully FLICKER FREE at any camera speed
\n9. The Muses of Light\u2019s LED are powered in CC and the proyectors were tested with a Phantom camera up to 42.000 FPS 2\u00b5s exposure time, without any Flicker.
\n10. The Electronics are MODULAR and REMOTABLE up to 50m from the device head:<\/p>\n
\nAbout the expected life-span of De Sisti\u2019s LED lights, it is usually said 50.000 hours, but in the case of the MUSES we consider 100.000 hours. Of course, the Factory provides service centers and spare parts. All De Sisti LED products are designed to last and be serviced, including potential component updates. In addition, De Sisti prioritizes modular design and the facility to always be able and change a component.<\/p>\n
