We are happy to inform you know that the EnergaCAMERIMAGE Festival has been included in the list of 20 Essential International Film Festivals In the World 2023! The list was prepared by MovieMaker, a prestigious American magazine. It includes film events from around the world, with only two of them held in Poland.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Our success was determined not only by the 30-year history of the festival, which has been organized continuously since 1993, but also by the fact that its anniversary edition was a great success and resonated with a wide international audience. Of the 226 films presented in Toru\u0144<\/strong>, many have gained international publicity and recognition from both the public and critics, as reflected, for example, in this year\u2019s Oscar\u00ae nominations. During the eight festival days, Toru\u0144<\/strong> was visited by such amazing filmmakers as Baz Luhrmann, Mandy Walker, Sam Mendes, Joseph Kosinski, Claudio Miranda, Stephen H. Burum, Ulrike Ottinger, Sarah Greenwood, Katie Spencer, Alex Gibney, Joseph Kahn, Vance Burberry, Andrzej Seweryn, Lech Majewski, Fred Berger, \u0141ukasz Bielan, Xawery \u017bu\u0142awski, Marian Prokop, Ben Davis, Autumn Durald Arkapaw, Erik Messerschmidt, Larkin Seiple, Oscar Faura, John Christian Rosenlund, Rodrigo Garc\u00eda, Cezary Pazura, Katarzyna Figura, Weronika Rosati, Maja Ostaszewska, Micha\u0142 Englert, Jean-Jacques Annaud, Jean-Marie Dreujou, Jean Rabasse, Bill Mechanic, Ed Lachman<\/strong> and many others. In addition to film screenings, festival guests could participate in a number of inspiring accompanying events, such as Q&As, seminars, workshops, meetings, and exhibitions held in five major Festival locations, and in the evenings party in the NRD club or at numerous dinners held by our partners.<\/p>\n

All these advantages were noticed by the MovieMaker <\/strong>team responsible for this year’s list. In the justification we can read that: <\/p>\n

EnergaCAMERIMAGE <\/em><\/strong><\/span>stands out with its celebration of cinematography \u2014 and draws A-list actors and directors grateful for the professionals who know how to make them and their ideas look gorgeous. <\/em><\/p>\n

One of Europe\u2019s most prestigious film festivals, <\/em>EnergaCAMERIMAGE <\/span><\/em><\/strong>just celebrated its 30th year by awarding its prestigious Golden Frog award to T\u00e1r<\/span>, shot by Florian Hoffmeister<\/strong> and directed by Todd Field<\/strong>. (The award is often a major Oscar\u00ae predictor in the cinematography category). <\/em><\/p>\n

The festival is working to promote year-round film education and celebration, and is starting construction this year on a new cultural center to further promote its work.<\/em> <\/p>\n
