After last week’s handful of news from overseas, it was time for the European continent. The British Society of Cinematographers announced the nominees for the BSC Award in a Feature Film category with filmmakers whose films we had the privilege to watch at last year\u2019s EnergaCAMERIMAGE<\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the BSC Cinematography in a Feature Film category, the nominees include the Bronze Frog recipient, Robbie Ryan<\/strong>, BSC, ISC, director of photography of Poor Things<\/em><\/span>. Also competing for the BSC Award are cinematographers qualified to our Main Competition: Matthew Libatique<\/strong>, ASC for Maestro<\/em><\/span> and Rodrigo Prieto<\/strong>, ASC, AMC for Killers of the Flower Moon<\/em> <\/span>as well as our special screening Saltburn<\/em><\/span>, featuring cinematography by Linus Sandgren<\/strong>, ASC, FSF and Oppenheimer<\/em><\/span> with Hoyte van Hoytema<\/strong>, ASC, FSF, NSC in the role of director of photography.<\/p>\n

During this year\u2019s gala, the BSC will also honor Anthony Richmond<\/strong>, ASC, BSC, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. Anthony Richmond<\/strong> is a well-known cinematographer recognized for his visual mastery in such films as Shade<\/em>, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights<\/em>, Legally Blond<\/em>, Ravenous<\/em>, Men Of Honor<\/em>, Don\u2019t Look Now<\/em>,<\/span> just to name a few.<\/p>\n
