This year, we are bringing back the HOMESTAY programme, which aims to help film school students find free accommodation in the city during the festival. Residents of Toru\u0144 who host young filmmakers in their homes will receive free tickets to this year’s edition of EnergaCAMERIMAGE<\/span>, which begins on November 16, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Homestay Programme<\/strong> has been organized by the CAMERIMAGE<\/strong><\/span> Festival since 1997. Thanks to it, students coming not only from Europe but also from more distant parts of the world can find a place to stay, and city residents have a unique opportunity to form new connections that often result in long-lasting friendships. After the festival’s return to Toru\u0144<\/strong>, the programme was only implemented in 2019. In the following years, due to the COVID pandemic and subsequently the war in Ukraine, we refrained from organizing it. This year, Homestay<\/strong> officially returns, and we believe that the residents of Toru\u0144<\/strong> will once again surprise us with their extraordinary hospitality.<\/p>\n

Hosts can welcome both Polish and international students into their homes. However, this year’s programme will only be available to students whose films have been selected for the EnergaCAMERIMAGE 2024<\/strong><\/span> festival program.<\/p>\n

All hosts interested in applying for the Homestay Programme<\/strong> should submit an entry form, which is available via the Camerimage Portal<\/a>.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Besides providing accommodation to young guests, participants in the programme have no additional obligations related to taking care of the guests, but they can enjoy participating in one of the most important film events in Poland.<\/p>\n

Applications for the Homestay Programme<\/strong> will be accepted until September 30<\/strong>. This year’s edition of the festival will take place from November 16-23, 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n
