The 2024 edition of\u00a0EnergaCAMERIMAGE<\/span>, one of the most prestigious film festivals dedicated to the art of cinematography, will kick off with a spectacular event. The Opening Gala, scheduled for November 16, 2024, at CKK Jordanki in Toru\u0144, Kujawy-Pomorze Region, will feature a screening of\u00a0Blitz\u00a0<\/em><\/span>directed by the Academy and BAFTA Award-winning filmmaker Sir Steve McQueen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nThe Apple Original Film, Blitz<\/em><\/span>, follows the epic journey of George (Elliott Heffernan<\/strong>), a 9-year-old boy in World War II London whose mother Rita (Saoirse Ronan<\/strong>) sends him to safety in the English countryside. George, defiant and determined to return home to his mom and his grandfather Gerald (Paul Weller<\/strong>) in East London, embarks on an adventure, only to find himself in immense peril, while a distraught Rita searches for her missing son.<\/p>\n

The cast includes Saoirse<\/strong> Ronan<\/strong>, Harris<\/strong> Dickinson<\/strong>, Paul<\/strong> Weller<\/strong>, Benjamin<\/strong> Clementine, Kathy<\/strong> Burke<\/strong>, and newcomer Elliott<\/strong> Heffernan<\/strong>.
