The film is based on the musical stage play with music and lyrics by legendary Grammy and Oscar\u00ae winning composer and lyricist\u00a0Stephen\u00a0Schwartz\u00a0<\/strong>and book by\u00a0Winnie\u00a0Holzman, from the bestselling novel by\u00a0Gregory\u00a0Maguire.
