{"id":7900,"date":"2017-05-08T23:31:43","date_gmt":"2017-05-08T21:31:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/camernew.klienci.052b.com\/camerimage-kwalifikuje-do-studenckiego-oscara-2\/"},"modified":"2017-09-04T13:29:17","modified_gmt":"2017-09-04T11:29:17","slug":"camerimage-kwalifikuje-do-studenckiego-oscara-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.camerimage.pl\/en\/camerimage-kwalifikuje-do-studenckiego-oscara-2\/","title":{"rendered":"CAMERIMAGE CHOSEN AS A STUDENT OSCAR\u00ae QUALIFYING FESTIVAL"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"article\">\n<div><strong>It is our great pleasure to announce that the International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography CAMERIMAGE has been named by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences a STUDENT ACADEMY AWARD<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0qualifying festival.\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">What it means is that all films nominated in the Student Etudes Competition at Camerimage will qualify for consideration of the Student Academy Awards<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>, provided the filmmakers will otherwise comply with the Academy Rules, including being a full time student of an eligible film school and making the film as a part of the school work.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">Just as our Student Etudes Competition, Student Academy Awards\u00ae were established to support and encourage excellence in filmmaking at the collegiate level. Past winners include such distinguished directors as\u00a0<strong>John Lasseter, Pete Docter, Robert Zemeckis, Trey Parker\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong>\u00a0Spike Lee<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">This distinction adds to the ever growing prestige of Camerimage Film Festival and the fact that since 2013 we have been an ACADEMY AWARD<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0qualifying festival in the Documentary Short Subject category.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">CAMERIMAGE has already launched the selection process for its 25<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary edition which will be held in Bydgoszcz between 11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0and 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0November, 2017.
