Under separate tabs you will also find information about the location, opening hours and duties of the Festival reception, as well as the entry card and ticket prices and the rules for participation in the Festival. We have also prepared a special surprise for all students \u2013 new, reduced price for your entry card: only PLN 150.00 (which is less than 40 Euros)! <\/p>\n<p>Please remember that the number of entry cards is limited and that <strong>the deadline for reservation and payment expires on 3 November 2014<\/strong>. We\u2019d like to remind you that this year\u2019s Camerimage Lifetime Achievement Award will go to <strong>Caleb Deschanel<\/strong>, a multi-award-winning cinematographer honoured with five Oscar nominations &#8211; for his motion picture photography in <strong>Roland Emmerich&#8217;s <\/strong><span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>The Patriot<\/em><\/span>, <strong>Mel Gibson&#8217;s<\/strong><span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>The Passion of the Christ<\/em><\/span>, <strong>Philip Kaufman&#8217;s <\/strong><span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>The Right Stuff<\/em><\/span>,\u00a0<strong>Barry Levinson&#8217;s <\/strong><span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>The Natural<\/em><\/span> and <strong>Carroll Ballard&#8217;s <\/strong><span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>Fly Away Home<\/em><\/span>. Caleb will join us this year as our guest of honour and will meet with Festival audience after selected screenings of his work. <\/p>\n<p>Once again, the Festival program will feature the <em>Remembering the Masters<\/em> section with tributes paid to the outstanding achievements and remarkable talent of selected cinematographers, true cinematic visionaries of the twentieth century. This year, we will present a retrospective of the works by British cinematographer <strong>John Alcott<\/strong> (1931 \u2013 1986), known for his collaboration with the legendary <strong>Stanley Kubrick<\/strong> on <span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>A Clockwork Orange<\/em><\/span> or the stylish period piece <span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>Barry Lyndon<\/em><\/span>. We will also put a spotlight on <strong>Jerzy Lipman<\/strong> (1922 &#8211; 1983), one of the greatest directors of photography in the history of Polish cinema, an outstanding professional regarded as co-creator of the so-called Polish Film School. <\/p>\n<p>We also know which Polish films will be screened as part of the Main Competition and the Polish Films Competition. The Main Competition, will feature three Polish productions: <span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>Gods<\/em><\/span> by <strong>\u0141ukasz Palkowski<\/strong>,<span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>The Foreign Body<\/em><\/span> by <strong>Krzysztof Zanussi<\/strong> and <span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>Field of Dogs<\/em><\/span> by <strong>Lech Majewski<\/strong>. The Polish Films Competition will showcase a total of six titles: <span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>Hardkor Disko<\/em><\/span> by <strong>Krzysztof Skonieczny<\/strong>, <span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>Jack Strong\u00a0<\/em><\/span>by <strong>W\u0142adys\u0142aw Pasikowski<\/strong>, <span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>Summer Solstice<\/em><\/span> by <strong>Micha\u0142 Rogalski<\/strong>, <span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>The Word<\/em><\/span> by <strong>Anna Kazejak<\/strong>, <span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>The Heart and the Sweetheart<\/em><\/span> by <strong>Jan Jakub Kolski<\/strong> and <span class=\"article-text-color\"><em>Nude Area<\/em><\/span> by <strong>Urszula Antoniak<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>This is just a taste of what you will have the chance to see during the upcoming edition of CAMERIMAGE.
