Anyone interested in participating in the 22. edition of CAMERIMAGE Film Festival can now purchase their entry cards for the event<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Our new online entry card booking forms are available HERE<\/a><\/strong>. Under separate tabs you will also find information about the location, opening hours and duties of the Festival reception, as well as the entry card and ticket prices and the rules for participation in the Festival. We have also prepared a special surprise for all students \u2013 new, reduced price for your entry card: only PLN 150.00 (which is less than 40 Euros)! <\/p>\n

Please remember that the number of entry cards is limited and that the deadline for reservation and payment expires on 3 November 2014<\/strong>. After this date, in case there are still some entry cards available, prices will go up to match the values given in the price list.<\/p>\n

There are many attractions waiting for all the festival attendees. We\u2019d like to remind you that this year\u2019s Camerimage Lifetime Achievement Award will go to Caleb Deschanel<\/strong>, a multi-award-winning cinematographer honoured with five Oscar nominations – for his motion picture photography in Roland Emmerich’s <\/strong>The Patriot<\/em><\/span>, Mel Gibson’s<\/strong>The Passion of the Christ<\/em><\/span>, Philip Kaufman’s <\/strong>The Right Stuff<\/em><\/span>,\u00a0Barry Levinson’s <\/strong>The Natural<\/em><\/span> and Carroll Ballard’s <\/strong>Fly Away Home<\/em><\/span>. Caleb will join us this year as our guest of honour and will meet with Festival audience after selected screenings of his work. <\/p>\n

Once again, the Festival program will feature the Remembering the Masters<\/em> section with tributes paid to the outstanding achievements and remarkable talent of selected cinematographers, true cinematic visionaries of the twentieth century. This year, we will present a retrospective of the works by British cinematographer John Alcott<\/strong> (1931 \u2013 1986), known for his collaboration with the legendary Stanley Kubrick<\/strong> on A Clockwork Orange<\/em><\/span> or the stylish period piece Barry Lyndon<\/em><\/span>. We will also put a spotlight on Jerzy Lipman<\/strong> (1922 – 1983), one of the greatest directors of photography in the history of Polish cinema, an outstanding professional regarded as co-creator of the so-called Polish Film School. <\/p>\n

We also know which Polish films will be screened as part of the Main Competition and the Polish Films Competition. The Main Competition, will feature three Polish productions: Gods<\/em><\/span> by \u0141ukasz Palkowski<\/strong>,The Foreign Body<\/em><\/span> by Krzysztof Zanussi<\/strong> and Field of Dogs<\/em><\/span> by Lech Majewski<\/strong>. The Polish Films Competition will showcase a total of six titles: Hardkor Disko<\/em><\/span> by Krzysztof Skonieczny<\/strong>, Jack Strong\u00a0<\/em><\/span>by W\u0142adys\u0142aw Pasikowski<\/strong>, Summer Solstice<\/em><\/span> by Micha\u0142 Rogalski<\/strong>, The Word<\/em><\/span> by Anna Kazejak<\/strong>, The Heart and the Sweetheart<\/em><\/span> by Jan Jakub Kolski<\/strong> and Nude Area<\/em><\/span> by Urszula Antoniak<\/strong>. <\/p>\n
