PLUS CAMERIMAGE<\/b><\/span> is an event that allows cinema enthusiasts from around the world to meet in one place. Every year renown artists and young students of film art get together at our Festival. From these encounters – during the screenings, workshops and conversations – unusual ideas for new works for the screen come out. <\/p>\n Those who used to attend the Festival as students or beginner filmmakers, today create original movies and change the aesthetics of the tenth muse. Many of them become masters themselves and their activities now allow a new generation of courageous creators to arise. Their elder colleagues are an inspiration, and sometimes provide a direct support at the early projects. PLUS CAMERIMAGE<\/b><\/span> wants to accelerate the meetings of exceptional artists of young and the youngest generation. <\/p>\n Due to the increasing openness to the noteworthy artists and the new film phenomena they create, PLUS CAMERIMAGE<\/b><\/span> initiates Feature Debuts Competition<\/b>. The selection committee will nominate first or second non-documentary feature films<\/b> made by young directors and cinematographers. The Jury consisting of renowned film directors, DPs, producers and other filmmakers will choose the winners and present two awards to a Debut Cinematographer<\/b> and Debut Director<\/b>. <\/p>\n The idea of creating additional competition section is a natural consequence of our previous activities. For years we have been promoting innovative projects that combine intellectual freedom, remarkable insight into world affairs and a desire to inspire other artists of the screen. PLUS CAMERIMAGE<\/b><\/span> will make every effort to ensure that the Feature Debuts Competition<\/b> brings new discoveries: great movies of high artistic value and great filmmakers whose new ventures will surprise not only the Jury members but all audiences around the world as well. <\/p>\n
