Originally known for his imaginatively crafted brand of cut-out animation sequences for Monty Python&#8217;s Flying Circus (1969-74), Terry Gilliam, has come to be looked upon as one of the great filmmakers of the past three decades, a maverick producing effortlessly clever and devilishly twisted films frequently brimming with visual extravaganza. These traits have made him a fairly &#8216;uncomfortable&#8217; artist for critics as well as studio power brokers, with notable exceptions like The Fisher King. <\/p>\n<p>  Also cinematographer <b>Nicola Pecorini<\/b> will participate in the meeting. Both filmmakers present their latest movie, <i>The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus<\/i> in this year&#8217;s main competition.
