We all remember and admire his great talent shown in such features as <span><i>The Scarlet Letter, Alien 3, Cliffhanger<\/i><\/span>and many more. He worked with many acclaimed directors, few among others: <b> Renny Harlin, David Fischer<\/b> or <b> Michael Cimino<\/b> . His achievements were recognized with many nominations and awards i.e. a nomination for Oscar for<span><i> Excalibur<\/i><\/span>\u2019s cinematography and nominations for the British Society of Cinematographers Award for Best Cinematography, which he won twice for  <span><i>Hamlet<\/i><\/span>  and  <span><i>Legend<\/i><\/span>. <\/p>\n<p>He was repeatedly our guest at the Camerimage Festival.
