He is considered one of a few filmmakers who successfully merge ideas from various cultural traditions. Lee\u2019s visit in Lodz is related to his latest movie, <i>Lust, Caution<\/i>, competing in Plus Camerimage 2007. Ang Lee emphasized he has always felt responsible for promotion of traditional Chinese culture. It has been passed to him by his parents, who were forced to leave China for Taiwan. <\/p>\n<p> Comparing two of his movies: <i>Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon<\/i> and  <i>Lust, Caution<\/i> he emphasized, that the first one was more important for communication between the two cultures. <\/p>\n<p> The director also talked about his co-operation with <b>Rodrigo Prieto<\/b>, whom he worked with over <i>Brokeback Mountain<\/i> and <i>Lust, Caution<\/i>. Eventually he talked also about filming the love scene, which was very challenging due to its sophistication.  <\/p>\n<p><u><b>Osram Presentation<\/b><\/u><\/p>\n<p> Earlier on Monday presentation of <b>Osram<\/b>: <i>Life is Energy &#8211; See the World in the New Light<\/i> also took place. Besides consumer and specialist lighting, Osram also produces lighting for film. It has been awarded with the technical Oscar twice (1983 and 1987).
