Press conference of the creators of Sleuth<\/i><\/b>
The audience met with: Haris Zambarloukos<\/b> – cinematographer, Simon Mosley<\/b> – producer and Tim Harvey<\/b> – second director. Questions asked at the conference were related to the artistic layer of the movie. The cinematographer added, that cooperation of all present on the set was one of the main factors for the success of the movie. The fact, that the movie is a remake, forced new ideas in the area of cinematography. <\/p>\n
Press conference of the creators of Benek<\/i><\/b>
The audience met with: Robert Gli\u0144ski<\/b> – director and Jan Budzowski<\/b> – cinematographer, for whom the movie, presented in the Polish Film Competition, is a feature debut. He revealed that no additional lighting was used in the film: it was made with natural light or a regular light bulb. The truthfulness of the movie was preserved thanks to the actors, originating from Silesia. <\/p>\n
Press conference of Tibor M\u00e1th\u00e9 (cinematographer Opium – Diary of a Mad Woman<\/i>)<\/b>
The conference focused on technical issues related to the making of Opium\u2026<\/i>. Audience asked questions about lenses and lamps used by the cinematographer. Tibor M\u00e1th\u00e9<\/b> talked also about colors and lights related to the feelings and suffering of the characters. <\/p>\n
Conference of Adam Bajerski<\/b>
During the conference with the cinematographer of Tricks<\/i> the journalists were interested in his cooperation with the directors, Andrzej Jakimowski<\/b>. Adam Bajerski<\/b> admitted, that only recently he has appreciated the importance of the relation, one could call “a marriage between a director and cinematographer”. He added, that he works together with Jakimowski, look for locations and sometimes it is hard to distinguish between director\u2019s and cinematographer\u2019s invention. <\/p>\n
Arri-4K+BASICS Seminar<\/b>
The presentation focused mainly on the problems of change form analog film to the digital equivalent. Methods of optimization of focus and quality used by Arri<\/b> were shown. <\/p>\n
Dekalog 89+ Project <\/b>
The project relates to the famous series by Krzysztof Kie\u015blowski<\/b>. It is aimed at allowing the young generation to express the opinion about the surrounding reality from the perspective of the Ten Amendments. The project consists of two stages: first one for high school students, who write a story inspired by one of the Ten Amendments. The second one is for young filmmakers (director-cinematographer duos). They will be asked for filming the adaptations of the winning stories. <\/p>\n
Sachtler Artemis Hands On Presentation<\/b>
The potential of optimum usage of the system in cinematographer’s work was presented. Structure ot the equipment was presented in detail, as well as planned technological changes. The audience had the opportunity to test the equipment. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
