American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson is a series created by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski and offers a dramatic retelling of the so-called ‘trial of the century’ which divided America over two decades ago. The former NFL star and popular actor O.J. Simpson was arrested on charges of murdering his ex-wife and her friend in cold blood. His celebrity status meant that the case was instantly covered by the media, unleashing an emotional hell of speculation and causing the accused, who could not have behaved in a more ambiguous manner, to hire a group of highly skilled and very expensive attorneys and specialists, dubbed the ‘Dream Team.’ The pilot episode, directed by Ryan Murphy, shows Simpson before and after the arrest, introduces all the characters of the upcoming trial/media event, and signals the viewer to get ready for the high-stakes courtroom show that got the better part of America hooked to their TV screens.

Kappa Kappa Tau is a standard American sorority that populate the realm of film and television. A group of ambitious, pretty, and horribly envious young women who only tolerate each other for the sake of popularity and the numerous benefits that come from studying at an American college. This sisterhood’s members have another advantage in the form of their leader, who is one of the shallowest and most vicious girls on campus, making every Kappa even more desirable. The problem is that the dean has problems tolerating stupidity and has declared war on the sorority. The other problem is the sudden appearance of a demented and mysterious serial killer who disguises themselves as the Red Devil, and who for some reason is targeting poor students. Which is worse? Ryan Murphy – who is also the pilot episode’s director – Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan present Scream Queens, a mix of mad comedy and creative horror in which the joke is on everyone who gets brutally murdered.
