PLUS CAMERIMAGE PRESENTATIONS IN HOLLYWOOD

Following the splendid success of the Festival's 15th edition, Plus Camerimage together with Endeavor Talent Agency, CamTec, with the help of Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles and Helena and Stanley Kolodziey, Krol Spirits is organizing the presentation of Plus Camerimage 2007 winners. Six outstanding movies of Feature Films Competition and Students Film Competition, awarded due to their best visual values, will be screened in a special and unique show. The event will take place in Beverly Hills on 23rd and 24th January and it's going to be the only Plus Camerimage show in the U.S. and by invitation only.

    DIVING BELL AND THE BUTTERFLY, THE

    'Elle' France editor Jean-Dominique Bauby, who, at the age of 43, suffered a stroke that paralyzed his entire body, except his left eye. Using that eye to blink out his memoir, Bauby eloquently described the aspects of his interior world, from the psychological torment of being trapped inside his body to his imagined stories from lands he'd only visited in his mind.

    SILVER FROG 2007

    Jude travels to America in the 1960s to find his estranged father. There he falls in love with teenager Lucy. When her brother Max is drafted to fight in the Vietnam War, they become involved in peace activism. The film title and main characters are named after various songs by The Beatles.

    Biographical film about legendary singer and songwriter Bob Dylan, follows six distinct characters, depicting different stages of Dylan's life, embodying a different aspect of his life story and music.

    Malina and Zurek describe the reality with their mobile phone camera. Once, the bar where Zurek works is robbed. This event changes his outlook on life. Malina witnesses this event. A small boy - Szczeniak, cannot accept the loss of his mother, as well as his father’s attempts to start life anew. One night, three of them meet accidentally. They begin a journey beyond the horizon.
